As Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Octagon Worldwide, Lisa Murray oversees the agency's strategic marketing initiatives.
Recognized by Sports Business Journal and The Sporting News as one of the most influential women in sports marketing, Lisa has applied her expertise in developing and implementing integrated event marketing strategies for clients across a number of major sports platforms, including the Olympic Games, FIFA World Cup, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, professional golf, Major League Baseball and college football.
At Octagon, she oversees longstanding consulting clients MasterCard Worldwide and Allstate. In addition to her client responsibilities, Lisa works with Octagon offices in the U.K., South Africa, the Asia/Pacific region and South America on business development. Initiatives include pan-regional campaign development and activation for global brands, developing strategic program recommendations for prospective clients and elevating Octagon’s market visibility via industry conferences, special events and PR. She also conducts seminars for Octagon staff for the purpose of sharing best practices throughout the agency network and oversees global employee communications.
Lisa was a partner for four years in an Atlanta-based sports marketing firm until its acquisition by Octagon’s predecessor agency Advantage International in 1994.
